With the snow yesterday and early school closings, the delay in school openings and even some cancellations today, Mother Nature has once again wreaked havoc on the social scheduled of Atlantans. But there is hope for the weekend – The 4th Annual Midtown International Wine Crawl.
Five Midtown restaurants – all within walking (or crawling) distance of each other – are participating and offering up different wine and beer tasting choices and other great specials: Straits Restaurant – Asian sakes; Baraonda Caffe’ Italiano – Italian wines; Livingston Restaurant & Bar – Napa wines; The Melting Pot – California wines; Publik Draft House – wine and beer.
Registration is from 1 PM – 6PM at Livingston Restaurant & Bar, the newly renamed restaurant located in the Georgian Terrace Hotel (across from The Fabulous Fox Theatre). The tour lasts from 1 PM – 7 PM, and tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door. A portion of proceeds benefits Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. (Please note – ticket prices are for admission only – additional cost may be associated with food and drink at each participating restaurant.)
