#94 – A Taste of the Highlands – Benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Saturday, May 15, 2010
The Virginia Highlands neighborhood offers some of my favorite places to eat in the Atlanta area. Today – Saturday, May 15, 2010 – you can visit John Howell Park in Virgina Highlands and get to sample a multitude of dishes from 25 of the best local restaurants during A Taste of the Highlands.
Just reading this luscious list makes my mouth water. Participating restaurants include: 4th & Swift, Alon’s Bakery and Market, Amuse!, Atkins Park Tavern, Bakeshop, Caramba Cafe, DBA Barbecue, Doc Chey’s Noodle House, Ecco, Goin’ Coastal, La Tavola Trattoria, Mali Restaurant, Metrofresh, Murphy’s, Nuevo Latino, The Original El Taco, Osteria 832 Past and Pizza, Pazole, Pura Vida Tapas & Bar, Pure Taqueria, Rolling Bones Barbecue, Rosebud, San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company, South City Kitchen, Tierra, and The Warren City Club.
The delicious event takes place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (rain or shine!). Tickets are $45, and the proceeds benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. (You can no longer buy tickets online, but they are available at the event, until sold out.)
