#109 – Nibble & Noshfest – A Taste of Jewish Food and Fun – Sunday & Monday, May 30-31, 2010


If you’re looking for a fun, unique event to entertain yourself and your family this Memorial Day Weekend, then you have come to the right place. The Nibble & Noshfest is this weekend – Sunday and Monday, May 30-31, 2010 – at the Temple Kol Emeth in Marietta.

The two-day event is a unique blend of food, fun and entertainment, and admission is FREE! All food will be sold in taste-sized portions and priced from $1.00 – $3.00. You may want to taste bagels with tuna, egg, whitefish or chicken salad, and wash it down with a nice cold Dr. Brown’s soda. Or start off with matzo ball soup. Then have a pastrami sandwich, and finish off with a linzer tart cookie or an ice cold sorbet. The variety of local vendors will provide something for everyone!

There will also be arts & crafts, entertainment, Open Mic events, children’s activities, tours of the temple, and a special Sunday comedy event featuring Atlanta’s own Jerry Farber.

Nibble & Noshfest will take place Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 11 AM – 7 PM and on Monday, May 31, 2010, from 11 AM – 6 PM, rain or shine. Free parking will be available at the Eastminster Presbyterian Church across the street and at the Olde Mille shopping center at the corner of Roswell Road and Old Canton Road.
