#157 – Chef Tyler Florence Appearing at Macy’s-Lenox Square Mall Tomorrow – Cooking Demo and Book Signing!
If you’re a fan of the Food Network or just cooking in general, you’re probably a fan of Chef Tyler Florence. He’s handsome, he’s entertaining, he’s going to be at Macy’s in Lenox Square Mall tomorrow – July 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM – presented by the Macy’s Culinary Council.
Sharing some of his own secrets to simplifying summer cooking, Tyler will demonstrate some delicious summer recipes, including Sole Almondine, Lemon Smashed Potatoes and Parmesan Roasted Green Beans. As the recipes are demonstrated, customers will enjoy sampling the delicious results! (I’ll definitely be having a light breakfast to leave room to sample some delicious Tyler Florence cooking!)
Seating is limited and the reserved spots are already sold out, BUT there will be standing room for the demonstration, so feel free to come out! (You can also put your name on a waiting list for seating, starting at 1:30 PM.) If you’re a regular reader of 365Atlanta.com, the you will remember last month’s post about Top Chef Master Marcus Samuelsson, who appeared at Macy’s at North Point Mall; I attended that event and can tell you it’s definitely worth coming out!
And after the cooking demo, Chef Tyler will sign copies of his latest cookbooks, Stirring the Pot and Dinner at My Place (pictured), which you can bring with you or purchase the day of the event. What a great way to meet one of the Food Networks greatest stars!
I’ll be there – bringing my dad for his birthday to meet one of his favorite chefs! We’re really looking forward to it – hope to see you there!
