#189 – First Annual Dunwoody Police Explorers Car Show Today – Benefiting Special Olympics Georgia – Saturday, August 14, 2010


If you love cars, then you will want to be at the Dunwoody Police Explorers’ First Annual Car Show today – Saturday, August 14, 2010 – benefiting Special Olympics Georgia.

This special event will take place from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church Atlanta. Presented by Jim Ellis Porsche, the show will feature gorgeous cars vying for four awards: the Olympian Award, the Mayor’s Pick, the Chief’s Pick, and the People’s Choice Award. If you’re interested in entering your car, registration will take place between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM – you will need to download and fill out this form to enter your car. There is a $25 entry fee per vehicle, which includes a t-shirt, a raffle ticket, a meal ticket, and a dash plaque.

If you don’t want to enter you car but want to attend and join in the fun, you can view the cars, enjoy great food, and participate in the raffle to win one of over 25 great prizes! The awards ceremony is at 2:00 PM, so get there early to cast you vote for the People’s Choice Award!
