More in the mood for an ice cold beer today than for ice cream? No problem, we’ve got you covered, Atlanta!

Today – Saturday, August 28, 2010 –  is German Bierfest at Woodruff Park. From 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM, you can sample over 30 different German beers, all included in your ticket price. And to fill your stomach with German goodness, there will be food available for purchase from the Village Corner German Bakery and Tavern and from Petite Auberge.

Tickets are just $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. You can still get your tickets online by clicking here. This is billed as a family-friendly event, but of course no one under 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol. And of course, as with any good Germen Bierfest there will be live music and entertainment to keep you smiling through your beer.
