#242 – Cheese Dip for a Cure at Bone Garden Cantina Benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – Tonight – Monday, October 4, 2010
According to my friend, Laura, Bone Garden Cantina has the best cheese dip in town. I’m talking ooey, gooey, melty, jalapeno-filled Mexican cheese dip with warm, crisp freshly-made tortilla chips. Hungry yet?
Owned by a husband-and-wife team with a self-proclaimed love of simple, authentic Mexican food, Bone Garden Cantina prepares authentic Mexican recipes from scratch in small batches. With an extensive tequila and beer selection, you can start your meal off with one of Bone Garden’s signature margaritas or a sangria. My favorite part of the menu is the taco selection – an a la carte selection of unique, delicious tacos, like slow-cooked beef brisket, blackened tilapia, or even slow-braised goat. Add to those a hunger-inducing selection of tamales, enchiladas, burritos, empanadas and more – I’ll ask again, hungry yet? I’ve only eaten there once – tonight will be time number two and I plan to bring my appetite – but it was a delicious experience that I am eager to share it with my husband!
Tonight you should head on over the Bone Garden Cantina and check it out for yourself – from 6:00 PM “until they kick us out.” 20% of tonight’s proceeds at Bone Garden Cantina will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society via the Georgia Chapter of Team in Training, thanks to the generosity of Bone Garden Cantina. What’s more fun than eating out? Eating out for a great cause!
Keep an eye out for a full post on Bone Garden Cantina in the near future – tonight, just take my word for it and go have some Cheese Dip (and dinner) for a Cure! Find Laura while you’re there and tell her 365Atlanta sent you!
