#243 – Rad 80s Dinner Tomorrow Night at Rosebud – Get Your Reservation Before They’re All Gone! Wednesday, October 6, 2010
So…you come to 365Atlanta.com to get the 411* on things to do in Atlanta. So here’s a rad one for you that you won’t want to miss.
Chef Ron Eyester of Rosebud is hosting another one of his famous music dinners tomorrow night – Wednesday, October 6, 2010 – The 80s Dinner. Not only is it going to be a funky-cool night complete with a DJ spinning 80s tunes and Chef Ron’s amazingly delicious food, but you’re encouraged to break out those 80s clothes that you know you still have lurking in your closet. Grab those leg warmers, oversized sweaters, Jordache jeans, parachute pants and banana clips and join us for an evening of incredible fun for an incredible cause.
Tomorrow night’s 80s Dinner is a fundraiser for the Atlanta Komen 3-Day for the Cure, a 3-day, 60-mile walk to end breast cancer. Chef Ron and Rosebud are donation a portion of the proceeds from the dinner to this great cause – it’s a great excuse to revisit Rosebud or try them out for the first time. I guarantee you’ll fall in love and want to go back again and again!
The menu is a creative and culinary look back at one of my favorite decades. It’s a six-course menu featuring some of Chef Ron’s favorite 80s food trends, such as Jell-O shots, fried mozzarella, Ramen noodles, the Monte Cristo sandwich, and cookies ‘n cream, but all with a Rosebud twist that updates old favorites to fit modern taste – exactly what you expect from Rosebud. And like all meals at Rosebud, you won’t leave feeling anything but full and satisfied. It’s gonna be the bomb.
Here’s how it works: Rosebud’s 80s Dinner is a prix fixe menu, priced at $42.00 per person. There is one seating – at 7:00 PM – for the evening. Reservations are required, so you should call 404-347-9747 right now to be sure you get your spot!
Don’t be a dweeb – grab your B.F.F. and head to Rosebud tomorrow night – but don’t forget to make your reservation today, before they’re all gone!
If you can’t make it to The 80s Dinner tomorrow night but would like to support the 3-Day Team that Chef Ron is supporting, please visit www.the3day.org/goto/meredithperlman. To read more about the team’s journey, you can visit: http://newkidsonthewalk.blogspot.com/.
