Looking for a unique night out tonight? How about a night of fine art and ale – “Champagne Art on a Beer Budget” – at Huff Harrington Fine Art Gallery.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the masters behind the brushes and the brew as new work is unveiled from the gallery’s artists with a tall frosty glass of ale in hand! A unique twist on the typical art gallery show! This exhibit features “champagne art on a beer budget” – works from the gallery’s most popular artists. Arts & Ale kicks off tonight- Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM – with a casual and unique event featuring craft beer, small bites and live bluegrass music. The event is FREE and open to the public – I think you should take advantage of this fun opportunity and plan to attend. The show runs through November 5, 2010.
Huff Harrington’s fall line-up features new paintings from a range of artists including Elizabeth Barber (featured at right – Sun III – oil, 12 x 12), Nancy Franke, Doug Flotz, Karen Bezuidenhout, new artist, Svetlana Shalygina and more. The selection has been described as “run[ning] the gamut from representational landscapes to mixed media abstracts…and just about everything in between.”
More information is available on the Huff Harrington Fine Art website or by calling (404) 257-0511. Huff Harrington Fine Art is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 5 PM and by appointment.
