#255 – It’s B.Y.O.P. (pumpkin, that is) at the Centennial Pumpkin Fest – Compete for Best Pumpkin Tomorrow – Sunday, October 17, 2010
They’re ba-aack! The same cool peeps who brought you the Piedmont Park Pillow Fight back in February and the Freedom Park Water Gun Battle in August are bringing you the Centennial Pumpkin Fest, just in time for Halloween, of course!
Tomorrow – Sunday, October 17, 2010 – from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM, you can join in the fun at Centennial Olympic Park (by the fountain). B.Y.O.P. (pumpkin, that is) and a carving kit (but don’t worry about your trash and pumpkin goo – all clean-up will be taken care of for you!).
Judging will begin at 1:25 PM, so get there on time to start your masterpiece! Pumpkins will be judged on three criteria – Originality, Craftsmanship, and Humor. There’s even a $50 cash prize for the winner! And who doesn’t want to win a CASH PRIZE?
This event is totally FREE, but there will be a donation jar for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and any donations are appreciated!
