#282 – The Big Orange Premiere Live on the Big Screen! The Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta Presents the Conan Premiere!
What’s big and orange and larger than life? It’s the premiere of Conan on TBS – live on the big screen at The Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta tonight – Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00 PM!
The historic movie house, recently restored into The Earl Smith Strand Theatre, is a regular venue for movies, concerts, and live theatre and has your ticket to Conan live on the big screen! With just over 500 seats, The Strand is intimate enough to feel a part of any show you’re seeing but big enough to host this huge blockbuster event! Best of all, this event is totally FREE.
Still not swayed? Here are some more tidbits to persuade you. The Strand has a full bar, so you can purchase beverages and movie theatre-style snacks to enjoy during the broadcast. The first 50 people to purchase a drink will receive a piece of official Conan swag, just sent over by TBS (see samples in photo, right). And did I mention that admission is FREE?
Conan would want you to party down and celebrate his triumphant return to television. The much-anticipated premiere of Conan has been heralded by Conan’s summer tour, Twitter contests, blimp fly-overs and tons of commercials promising the hilarity we’ve come to know and love. So come raise a glass and toast Conan’s first guest, winner of the “first guest poll,” Seth Rogan and to musical guest, Jack White – and to Team Coco!
Doors open at 10:30 PM and the show begins at 11:00 PM. Seating is first come, first seated but there’s not a bad seat in the house. And you can’t beat seeing Conan – larger than life on the big screen!
