#288 – Midtown’s Pacci Ristorante Helps Homeless Pets Find a “Home for the Holidays” – Saturday, November 13, 2010
Bring your furry friend – or find a new one – at this heartwarming, pet-friendly event at Midtown’s Pacci Ristorante on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
From 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM, you can enjoy lunch at Pacci and take part in supporting the Atlanta Humane Society at this unique adoption event. The AHS adoption bus will have adorable, adoptable pets and there will be even more upstairs at the Altorex Rooftop Lounge – ready to meet you and make a match!
While you are enjoying some mouthwatering $5.00 lunch specials, your pooch can enjoy some specially-made homemade dog biscuits by Pacci Ristorante’s Executive Chef Keira Moritz. In support of the homeless pets and their partner for this event, Pacci is donating all lunch proceeds directly to the Atlanta Humane Society. “We are so excited to be partnering with the Atlanta Humane Society again,” said Pacci Ristorante Executive Chef Keira Moritz. “This organization does so much for the city’s pet population, and we feel honored to host this event.”
Chef Moritz, animal-lover and owner of a Border Collie named Magnolia, is a champion of the Atlanta Humane Society. In addition to this fun and fantastic event, Pacci is also sponsoring one pet a month for October, November and December, covering the adoption fees to make it easier for someone to bring home a new furry friend. October’s dog was snatched up, but November’s is still available, so if interested, ask at this event!
What better way to get into the holiday spirit early than to give a homeless pet a home or to support the Atlanta Humane Society at this fun event? If you’re an animal lover, won’t you come out for lunch at Pacci and meet the folks (and pets) from AHS?
Hopefully, I will see you at Pacci Ristorante – maybe you’ll find the perfect friend to bring home for the holidays!
