It’s the final week for The 19th Annual Book Festival of the MJCCA and there are some exciting events in store!
This much-anticipated annual event is always one of surprises and celebrities, and this year is no different. I am particularly excited about Jessica Seinfeld’s appearance, on Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30 PM, as she discusses her new cookbook, Double Delicious. (Even though I don’t have children, I own and adore her first cookbook, Deceptively Delicious.) Jessica Seinfeld will be interviewed by none other than Atlanta’s own Jennifer Levison of Souper Jenny. The closing day guest is amazing, as well – Gene Wilder will discuss his book, What is This Thing Called Love? on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM. What an amazing experience to see Gene Wilder speak and discuss his book and career!
There are various other events and speakers throughout the week, so be sure to check the online calendar.
You can purchase tickets for events online by clicking here or in person at the MJCCA Box Office, located at their Zaban Park location (see below), through November 20. Box office hours this week are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Tickets range from $8.00-11.00 for MJCCA members and $13.00-16.00 for non-members. There are also a couple of FREE events this week, but all events require tickets, so be sure to reserve/purchase yours today to ensure that you can get in to the events of your choice!
