#291 – Dine Out to “86” Hunger This Week at Participating Restaurants with the 86 Project – November 16-18, 2010
Love to dine out? Need a good excuse to dine out this week or try a new Midtown restaurant? Look no further than the 86project’s 86/Hunger 3-Day Dine Out!
This week – Tuesday, November 16 through Thursday, November 18, 2010 – participating restaurants will donate a minimum of 86¢ for every dine-in guest toward the 86project, “a network of socially-active restaurants and like-minded food enthusiasts who act together to improve and uplift local communities by giving back, raising awareness in the spirit of “86ing” things like hunger, climate change, autism and cancer.” The 3-Day Dine Out benefits the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Participating restaurants this week are Aria, Bhojanic, Bone Garden Cantina, Diesel, Cafe di Sol, The Nook, 4th & Swift, Genki, all Concentrics Restaurants (including ONE Midtown Kitchen, Two Urban Licks and Parish), and all Metrotainment Cafes (including Hudson Grill and Joe’s on Juniper). According to Kate Mitchell, founder of the 86project, “Our goal with the November Dine-Out is to raise $21,500 to support the Atlanta Community Food Bank, which supports nearly 60,000 different households in the greater Atlanta community.” Wouldn’t you like to be a part of helping 86project reach their goal?
Reservations are recommended for each restaurant to ensure that you can get a table!
