It’s your first opportunity to celebrate the Christmas holiday season…and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet!

If you’ve been ready to jump-start the holidays and needing a giant, beautiful tree to make you feel the holiday warm-fuzzies, then head down to Atlantic Station tomorrow – Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM – for The Lighting of Atlantic Station. christmas-star-by-brockvicky-on-flickr

This free, family-friendly event is a full-fledged celebration of the coming holiday season, with arts and crafts to make and take home, a holiday fashion show, live music and entertainment and local radio personalities and celebrities!

Celebrate the season all day long in anticipation of the big event – at 7:30 PM all of Atlantic Station will be illuminated with over 250,000 lights over an eight-block area and a visit from the jolly man, Santa Claus, himself, in his first Atlanta appearance of the season! Snow will fall realistically during the lighting and then at 8:00 PM, you can enjoy a family-appropriate outdoor movie screening to cap off the night!

Bring the whole family and take in this feel-good event!
