#307 – Dine Out for America’s Gulf Seafood Tonight – December 1, 2010 – Support the Fisherman of the Gulf While Enjoying a Fantastic Meal!

Tonight – Wednesday, December 1, 2010 – you can be a part of a national movement to support the Gulf Coast fishermen – just by eating out at one of Atlanta’s best restaurants. Almost 300 chefs and restauranteurs from around the country are participating in Dine America/Dine Louisiana as a nationwide show of solidarity for Gulf fishermen and to boost the demand for Gulf seafood.

Growing up on the west coast of Florida, the Gulf was a constant in my life. Anyone who has lived or visited the Gulf coast region knows first-hand the importance of the seafood industry to the local economy. You can help show support for this important industry and help save a culture and a cuisine.

Participating Atlanta restaurants are: Aria/Chef Gerry Klaskala, Au Pied de Cochon/Chef Didier Lailheugue, Davio’s/Chef Bennett Hollberg, JCT Kitchen and Bar/Chef Ford Fry, South City Kitchen-Midtown/Chef Chip Ulbrich,¬†South City Kitchen-Vinings/Chef Chip Ulbrich, Spice Market Atlanta/Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and¬†Woodfire Grill/Chef Kevin Gillespie.
