#353 – Support Local Arts at the Inaugural Atlanta Symphony Orchestra – Symphony Gala, Featuring Chris Botti – Friday, February 4, 2011

Lovers of classical music won’t want to miss this unique Atlanta Symphony experience – the inaugural Symphony Orchestra Gala featuring the amazing talents of Chris Botti (pictured above). If you have never heard Chris Botti, this is a golden ticket to an incredible evening – all the glitz and glamour of a VIP evening with the dazzling trumpet stylings of this world-famous musician!

Benefitting the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Education and Outreach Initiatives, including the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Talent Development Program, this fabulous evening on Friday, February 4, 2011, starts with a pre-concert reception at 7:00 PM, followed by wine, hors d’oevres and a concert by trumpeter Chris Botti and Band at 8:00 PM, and culminating at 9:00 PM with a champagne dinner, open bar, silent auction and – of course – more music.

Since this is a benefit, the ticket prices are priced accordingly, in three tiered levels (and are not for the faint of heart): the $250 Silver Patron level – includes the pre-concert cocktail hour and concert; the $500 Gold Benefactor level – includes the pre-concert cocktail hour, concert, and post-concert Champagne supper; and the $1,250 Platinum Sponsor level – includes an exclusive pre-concert Meet & Greet with Chris Botti, in addition to the pre-concert cocktail hour, concert, and Champagne supper. While this is a high-priced ticket, it benefits a great cause – the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, which celebrates local musicians, provides educational outreach and programming throughout the Metro Atlanta area, and is an important part of our arts community.

Can’t make it to this event or find that it’s out of your price range? You can still support the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra by purchasing tickets for the remainder of the 2011 season! The Symphony is presenting some pretty wonderful and diverse offerings over the next couple of months, including their Delta Classical Concert Series for those wanting some “traditional” classical music, their Family Concert Series for kids of all ages, the SuperPOPS! Series with such incredible names as Patti LuPone and The Chieftans, and the special series including Wynton Marsalis and comedienne Joan Rivers.
