This year, the Winter Beer Carnival has moved to a bigger and better location at Spring and 8th Street in Midtown, making room for more beer, more carnival games and tons more fun. Taking place in two climate-controlled tents (which means it doesn’t matter what the weather decides to do!), the Winter Beer Carnival boasts the most eclectic list of beers of all Atlanta’s beer fests winter-beer-carnival-atlanta-ga-february-2011-the-toastover 100 types of beer including traditional favorites, premium craft beers and an assortment of the best winter brews from breweries near and far!

The Winter Beer Carnival couldn’t be called a carnival without true carnival games and rides. The carnival-themed celebration will include midway-style games and tests of skill. With a little luck, you may be a big winner! There will also be live DJs all day long and plenty of carnival food available for purchase.

The Winter Beer Carnival is a rain-or-shine event and is only for ages 21+. Tickets can be purchased via TicketAlternative.com or on the Winter Beer Carnival website. General admission tickets are $35 in advance or $40 day of show; you can also purchase a VIP ticket $60, which allows admission one hour early, access to a premium selection of top-rated and hard-to-find beers, plus access to special seating and the all-important restroom area! Want to attend as a designated driver? DD tickets are just $20 and include admission and unlimited carnival games and rides (some games/rides may include a nominal fee in addition to admission price).
