the-man-himself-by-nmcil-ortiz-domney-on-flickrThe Academy Awards are coming up next weekend (Sunday, February 27, 2011). Perhaps you haven’t had a chance to see all of the nominated films yet or perhaps you want to refresh your memory before you go to that Oscar Party (after all, you want to be sure you get the most picks right on the ballot!). Either way, AMC Theatres are giving you the opportunity to see all of the nominated films in their Best Picture Showcase – a 24-hour movie marathon featuring all ten of the Oscar-nominated films!

For $50 (includes a $20 gift card you can use toward concessions), you can watch the best 10 films of 2010 – one after another in a 24-hour movie marathon to prep yourself for the big awards show! Tickets are limited and, according to Guest Services when I spoke to them this morning, will sell out so plan ahead and get your tickets now! You can purchase your tickets online (a $1.oo service charge will be added for each ticket).

The Oscar-nominated films are:

  • Toy Story 3
  • 127 Hours
  • The Kids Are All Right
  • True Grit
  • The Fighter
  • Winter’s Bone
  • Black Swan
  • Inception
  • The Social Network
  • The King’s Speech
