Want to be a part of something secret? Want to have the inside scoop on where you can get some of the most delicious treats in Atlanta? Check this out: the Atlanta Underground Market.
Atlanta has become known for its amazing variety and quality of restaurants, the number of home cooks and food artisans is astounding, and the burgeoning food scene demands more and more attention. This Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, the Atlanta Underground Market is going to provide an opportunity for those home cooks, bakers, and artisans to sell their wares – and promises to provide “30 to 40 local food artisans with their seriously drool-worthy food creations.” We’re not talking your average bake sale; we’re talking amazing dishes you may not have an opportunity to try elsewhere. Promise.
For just $2.00 admission, you can shop some of Atlanta’s most talented cooks and chefs. Local restaurants are invited to participate, too, provided that they offer something not currently on their menu. But the location is a secret…
So how do you get in? Visit the Atlanta Underground Market website and sign up (it’s free to sign up). One day before the event, you will receive notification of the location of the event. And then you’re golden.
Just remember, you have to sign up to receive your special invitation – the location will not be posted publicly, nor will it be advertised or broadcast, so unless you sign up, you’ll be out of the loop!
You may want to tell your friends…or you may want to keep this one all to yourself!
(PLEASE NOTE to avoid confusion: This event has no affiliation with Underground Atlanta, nor is that the location of the event.)
