Get Artsy This Weekend at the 2nd Annual Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival – Saturday and Sunday, May 14 & 15, 2011
This weekend, prepare to enjoy the gorgeous weather at the 2nd Annual Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival, Saturday and Sunday, May 14 & 15, 2011. Last year’s inaugural event was a smashing success – one of the most fun festivals I attended all year – and this one promises to deliver again.
Set in the beautiful Chastain Park in north Buckhead, this year’s festival will feature more than 175 artists and artisans – 80% of whom are from Georgia! There will also be live acoustic music, a professional children’s area, delicious local foods and beverages, and lots of fun for the entire family. In addition, this year’s event is in support of the Chastain Dog Park campaign
Festival hours are Saturday, May 14 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, and Sunday, May 15 from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Admission is free and parking is abundant, but be sure to arrive early to find time to park and explore all the festival has to offer!
Last year, over 15,000 people attended the Buckhead Arts Festival – if you didn’t make it out last year, make sure you don’t miss it this time around!
