My good friend Tim Gaddis is the Cheesemonger (isn’t that just the coolest word?) at Star Provisions, the premiere gourmet grocery in Atlanta. He’s one of the many cool and interesting people I’ve met via social media, and who has introduced me to a number of purveyors of delicious products: Angie and Phin of Phickles Pickles and Chef Ross and Joanna of Bacon Marmalade, to name a couple, all via events at Star Provisions.
Here’s your chance to meet some people just like that – people who make delicious products, have interesting stories and love to tell them, to let you sample their wares, and may even become new friends. It’s the 3rd Annual Cheese Week at Star Provisions.
This year’s cheesy guests include: Beehive Cheese Co. from Uintah, UT; Sweet Grass Dairy from Thomasville, GA; Maplebrook Farm from Bennington, VT; Rogue Creamery from Central Point, OR; Capra Gia Farm from Carrolton, GA; Vermont Farmstead Cheeses from S. Woodstock, VT; Sequatchie Cove Creamery from Sequatchie, TN; Nature’s Harmony Farm from Elberton, GA; and Blackberry Farm from Walland, TN.
Cheese Week takes place Thursday, September 15 through Saturday, September 17, 2011, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day. The schedule of guests (subject to change):
