Single Origin Chocolate and Coffee Tasting, Benefiting Blood:Water Mission – Tonight, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Batdorf and Bronson Coffee Roasters
I recently got to tour the Batdorf and Bronson Coffee Roasters facility on the Westside of Atlanta (more about that in an upcoming post) and heard about this amazing event. You’re going to want to join me!
Tonight – Friday, July 20, 2012 – you can join Batdorf and Bronson Coffee Roasters and Cacao Atlanta for an evening of tasting single origin chocolates and coffees. You’ll enjoy the sampling and learning the differences in coffee and chocolate from around the globe, including new coffee and cacao crops just in, all in the amazing Batdorf and Bronson Coffee Roasting facility on the Westside of Atlanta.
All proceeds benefit Blood:Water Mission, an organization that works to build clean water wells and catchment systems and provide much needed HIV medication all over Africa, especially around coffee growing regions. Batdorf and Bronson’s Coffee Evangelist, Jason Dominy, is particularly passional about this cause and this organization. He’ll be hosting the evening and will no doubt be inspiring us all to find out more and get involved. Jason’s knowledge of coffee and passion for causes that help coffee-growing regions around the world, particularly Africa, is infectious. The Ride:Well Team, a cycling team traveling cross-country raising money and awareness for Blood:Water Mission will be on hand to talk about both Blood:Water and their journey. And bonus: there will be cool door prizes from local businesses – what more could you ask for?
Tickets are just a $20 suggested donation, all proceeds going to Blood:Water Mission. You can read more about the Ride:Well Tour and Blood:Water Mission at www.ridewelltour.org.
What a fun and delicious way to spend your Friday evening – I hope you’ll join me! Tickets can be purchased via Atlanta’s own Ticket Alternative by clicking here.
